x is known

X is known refers to the Autobiography of Malcolm X. it refers to when he is in prison and he finds himself. This is a very important part of the book because for once in his life he finally knows who he is. Many question if this is really who he is and they make the argument that he never would have changed if he hadn’t gone to prison. Many say he would be the same ol’ hustling good-for-nothing scumbag, or as they called him… “Red”. The title of this blog can mean anything, but I think “X marks the spot” is trying to tell us that either Malcolm X or the Autobiography of Malcolm (maybe both) is extremely powerful.
This moment in the book is so important that movie producers have decided to include it in their movies. In the movie “Don’t Be A Menace to Society While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood made a parody of this depicting that there is a message behind it and to show the people who might not have seen Malcolm X but is watching this movie….. that everything has a meaning behind it.
I think this is ho Malcolm X is. I think he has REALLY found himself, not by choice but by force. He was starring death in the face and it was either change his lifestyle or his lifestyle would be the death of him.
